Macrina Trading's silica sand supply programs are built around Western Australia's high-purity silica deposits — among the most consistent and specification-reliable sources available to international manufacturers.

Our supply programs are not catalogue-based. Each program is structured around the specific chemical, physical, and logistical requirements of the buyer's manufacturing process, with volume commitments and specification windows agreed in advance.

Supply is available in washed, dried, and sized grades across a range of SiO₂ purity levels — from standard glass sand to ultra-high-purity specialty grades.

Supply Structure

Washed & Dried Options

Supply is available in multiple processing states, enabling buyers to select the input form that aligns with their manufacturing process requirements.

Run-of-Mine Screened

Screened and oversized material removed. Suitable for applications with lower chemical purity requirements or further processing downstream.

Washed Grade

Attrition-scrubbed and hydraulically classified to remove clays, fine impurities, and surface coatings. Elevated SiO₂ purity with reduced iron and alumina.

Washed & Dried

Fully processed to target moisture content, sized to specification windows. Preferred input form for glass batch, engineered stone, and foundry applications.
